Were you impressed by Germany ? I wasn't ! ---Not impressed by Costa Rica either. I don't think any of these two will be the World Champions. I am still betting on Brazil (pure skill and class) and on Portugal (pure skill and class) on England (only it they fixed it for England to win will England win)

I was dissappointed with Germany. I thought they didn't do that great. Although a lot of great players were out for this game. Although I must admit that Germany's fourth goal was pretty sweet. Costa Rica did okay. Especially since everyone expected them to get seriously beaten. But I think Germany has yet a lot to give, and I can't wait to see how that works out.
I'm with you on Brazil winning. I can't wait to see them play. It's going to be glorious.

Hey man, no disrespect to the USA, but you guys really need to stop using that 2-0 lead against Brazil as an accomplishment, seeing as you then conceded 3 to lose to game. But yeah, I'm an England fan and definitely not underestimating you guys. They seem like an organised team and determined to win. I like Howard, Donovan and Dempsey. Howard is better than any English keeper we have. And I was very impressed with Donovan in the EPL. It'll be a close game imo. Perhaps if the USA do win it'll be the best thing to happen to us - may shut some of our arrogant fans up.

If a team with no offense at all can score 2 goals against Germany, they will have to improve a lot to have any chance at this worls cup.

I hated Germany soccer team before this game.But this game impressed me sooooooo much about Germany. Hey,boy.Philip Lahm and Klose were great.I really hated this game before but now I think I love it.( not love, I like it)

i thought both team were awesome!! there's only one problem..i dont know what jens lehmann was doing there...darn..he shouldnt pass the 2 goals by CRC...anyway, it was a good start for both team..well, just for a start..we'll see the rest =)
*praying germany will win the world cup*
and oh yeah, klose was great..a birthday present for him i guess =)
but frings' goal was amazing!!

I AM MEXICAN... therefore i would like mexico to take the world cup... unfortunately i dont think this will happen... i would be happy if they made it to the finals though.... yeah im with you on this one... BRAZIL... yeah they are really good.. even though im not a soccer fan... i think brazil is good. i just enjoy watching the game when BECKHAM IS PLAYING. omg.. he is so fine.... :)
anyways.... well we'll see who takes the world cup this time...
