I am on Weight Watchers Flexpoint system. I have lost 20 pounds and learned a lot about healthy eating and portion control. The best thing you can do is make sure you use your daily points wisely. The more fiber rich foods you eat, the fuller you will feel. If you waste the points on sugary garbage, you're going to be hungry.

If you run out of points at the end of the day and you're still hungry, raw carrots and celery are free from points and are a great filler. Drinking lots of water helps curb your appetite too.

When I exercise and get activity points, I don't take them. It speeds up weight loss.

Good luck!!! It's SO WORTH IT!

not me,the quickest way isn't always the best way or the right way for you. Here are 3 different approaches that work:

1) The quickest by far is surgery, of course. Liposuction is fast and works wonders- but actual stomach reductions (stapling, bypass etc) have not only been proven effective for weightloss but also in reducing the chances you'll develop adult onset diabetes.

2) Next fastest is to eat a diet of 80% natural fats and 20% protein, in 5 small portions, with a target of 1000 calories a day. This is like eating a 2 oz bag of macadamia nuts, or 2 oz of egg salad or tuna salad as a complete meal, every meal. It works- and for any significant amount of weight it's better than starvation. More importantly the high fat content of the diet ensures that your body continues to produce the hormones you need to retain muscle tissue- so you lose fat pounds and not muscle pounds.

3) Probably the best long term solution to lose weight and improve your health is to follow a light excercise routine several times per week, and to eat a diet that is high in fiber and has a low glycemic index (that is- eat foods that are low in processed sugar and grains, preferring when you eat carbohydrates to try whole grains and natural sugars).

I used to do WW. It worked great for me. I had to quit because i got pregnant. When my money starts looking better I'll go back on. I really enjoyed it myself. I used my own food not theirs. Couldn't afford it. The meetings were awsome. To see people going thru what you are going thru is so relieveing. Stick with it. It does do wonders for you and your health.
