I wouldn't tell you what to do. You must follow your heart & if you have a calling to serve God, then please give it a try. Sex is not for everyone & it is highly overrated in our society. You may just have the wrong partner, or one who needs some time to get to know your needs. These things often take up more time than most people are willing to put into a relationship. Good Luck on whatever you decide!

You shouldn't give up after one partner. All you know is that you hate sex with HIM. Do you hate sex with yourself?? If you don't know the answer to that, then I'd have to say that you're not ready to make a decision like this. You may have *no idea* what you are missing. Trust me.
Besides, if your reasoning to become a nun is *because* you've found that you hate sex, don't you think that has little to do with the work nuns do. That should not be the reason to become a nun.

no, don't become a nun just because you had lousy sex. your boyfriend probably just isn't doing it right. i had been sexually active for 5 years, with about 10 different people before i got my first orgasm. i finally found a guy that not only gets me off everytime, but gives me multiples - and it is great. you don't know what you're missing, be paitient, and experiment, you'll get there when you are ready.
on the other hand if you feel a true calling to the church then you could become a nun, but the way you worded question doesn't reflect that.

First of all, simply hating sex is not the reason to become a nun. I am no expert on Catholicism, but I do believe it means that you feel you have been 'called' by God to do his work. Additionally, if you find out why you are hating sex, you might not have to hate it forever. If this is your first sexual experience you can't expect it to be perfect. I need more information about why you hate it to give you better advice. I mean, do you hate it because your bf is not giving you the types of pleasure you enjoy? Or is because of guilty feelings about sex? Or did you ever have any sexual experience that felt forced or wrong?

There are two completely different questions here: 1. "Should I never ever have sex again in my life?" and 2. "Should I become a nun?"
In the end, #2 is dependent upon #1, but not vice versa. still, the first thing you need to discern is your calling in life. If you are truly called to religious life, the decision of chastity will be relatively easy, because it will simply be necessary to fulfill you life's purpose. If you are not called to the religious life, you may still be called to a life of chastity, though. There are consecrated virgins in the U.S. Though, not very many, as you might imagine.

you would end up having more. may be you are not enjoying with the current one because either you or him is not satsified. you should look at enjoying yourself and i am sure you will realise that your head was running helter skelter being shocked to think that the best man that you could find did not make sex interesting to you after all. Dont become a nun. change your partner.

Probably not a good idea. First off, you would be doing it for all the wrong reasons. Plus sex isn't something that woman love after the first time. Could be a guilty conscious as well.

Guilt is one possibility. Further are you of a Christian persuasion? If so, recognize that fornication is flat out sin. That's why I suggested the guilt situation. Nonetheless, if serving God is your desire you can serve God as a single celibate or when the time is right a married woman. At any rate, do not be so quick to go to the extreme options in life. If you want to honor Christ you do need to keep yourself pure.

Sometimes the most obvious answer is right in front of us. Someone has to say it so it may as well me be, but maybe you are just a lesbian. Also, maybe its the guy, like maybe you don't hate sex, but you just hate sex with him.
