Achilles would definately win, no question about it.
First of all, Achilles isn't technically immortal or a demi god, he was just protected because his mother dipped him in the river styx (that is the river of the dead) by his heal, which is why his heal is the only place you can kill him. He was born to mortal parents and is not a son of a god.
Secondly, Alexander was nothing more than a man with a vision and a knack for military tactics. I think most people these days, armed with that big of a military force, could be just as clever.
Third, Achilles mocked the gods constantly, did they ever strike him down? Heck no, because they know he kicks serious butt. Alexander might have mocked the gods too, but he eventually gets owned by his own people and goes all crazy and stuff. So it is believed. That or he kept drinking out of lead cups, so he couldnt have been that bright either way.

Achilles, but only because he´s immortal :) The only reason Paris managed to kill him was because Athena (or maybe Apollo, I forget) told him how to do it, without divine intervention I´d guess poor Alexander doesn´t stand a chance.
