No I have known people with some ugly kids and they think they are the cutest kids in the world!! I feel bad cause I just can't say how cute the kid is when it isn't, I try to lie about it but I just can't!!

I guess it depends on how "ugly" the child is. Just because you don't find a child attractive, doesn't make the child ugly. If a child is so ugly looking that everyone who looks at it would agree that it is ugly, then yes, the parents know. They don't care, because they love the child.

I have wanted to know this for a long time. I don't however think they do. I have seen some pretty ugly folks and they think the children they have produced are wonderfully normal looking. WRONG! I shouldn't say this but even a friend of mine thinks her son is handsome and I think he looks like Droopy Dog. I guess maybe beauty really is in the eye of the BEERholder.

Almost all parents think the world of their children, so physical appearance isn't really a concern- they're just beautiful. Parents are often biast with their children, and a lot of the time, it goes beyond what they look like.
However, when my son was first born, and his head looked like a cylindar- I knew. But it went back to normal and he is the cutest thing you'd ever see. I swear.....

In all parents Eyes there kids are beautiful, 'cause there there kids. It's just the way life is. And when you think about it EVERYONE is beautiful, no matter what they look or act like.

I've seen beautiful people have not so beautiful kids and I've seen gorgeous people have not-so gorgeous kids. I don't think me and my hubby are exceptionally good looking but our kids are just absolutely gorgeous. The funny thing is seeing really ugly people with really great looking kids. It's weird how genetics works itself out.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I doubt any parent would look at their child and say he/she was ugly. To them, they have the most beautiful child in the world.

LMAO...I too have always wondered this. Sometimes I wish I could ask them and then have the ability to erase my question from their memory...lol. I know that wasn't the answer you wanted but its a funny thing. I'm sure everyone will say " NO, parents always love their children no matter what....I didn't say they don't love them but......why are so many kids decked out in HUGE hats and sunglasses....hmmmmmmmm

they might think their children are ugly on the outside (obviously, a good parent will never say this) but hopefully appreciate the child's inside more than out... even so, why should it bother the parent?
