I walked around dilated to a 2 for almost 3 full weeks...it just depends. You can be dilated at a 1 for a long time. It will depend on you and your baby.

With my son, I was dilated at 3 for a few weeks before I actually went into labor. Then I dilated to 9 very quickly, but it took a few hours to get that last cm to 10. (My labor was 12 hours total, which I'm told is considered average.) This time I'm due in 2 weeks and was only dilated one half at my appointment. It just depends on how your body decides to handle it.

It depends on each and evry woman, I have been dilated 2 cm since 16 weeks and I am now almost 28 weeks. Usually first labors are longer. I was in labor with my son for 32 hours. Hope this helps

Every body is different but seeing this is your first child it may take a little longer. It took me eight hours of contractions just to get dialated to four. Now my friend just had her first child and it only took her two or three hours. It really just depends on your body.

You can be dialted at 1cm for a while. With my first I was dialated at one for 3 weeks. Then it just depends on your body every one is different.

Some women can be 1-3cm dialated for weeks. There still is no sure way of knowing how much longer it will be. Hopefully no longer that 2 weeks. Good luck!

My daughter was at 2 for 2 1/2 days, then she went from 4 to 10 and pushed out a baby in 40 minutes, and it was her first child. She is 5 ft 1 inch and 108 lbs normally, she was just in good shape. Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends of many factors. With one of my sons I was dialted to 2 for over a week. Sometimes though it will go fast (especially after a certain point (like 5 cm) and that is why my daughter was delivered by the nurse!

It all depends on you my most recent child i was 3cm then next thing you knew he was ready to pop out. The more you walked and stayed active the faster your labor will go

You could stay at 1 cm for weeks. (Seriously) It all depends. Having contractions is what dilates your cervix, so the more (and stronger) contractions you have, the faster you'll dilate. With my first baby, I stayed at 1 cm for two weeks...two LONG weeks.
