how do I change the gear oil on my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer?

It's a front wheel drive transaxle

You can't, there is no provision made by the manufacturer to change manual trans oil. If you want to add oil this is done through the speedo drive. Jules. Automotive lecturer. Australia.
