I've used Spybot, AdAware SE Personal, and MS Defender. I tried a few spyware scans and it found all sorts of stuff that ALL 3 of those missed!

I've heard good things about Spysweeper and Spyware Doctor. Which do you think I should try?

Have you had experience (good or bad) with either?

Personally I consider AdAware the best free addaware removal! Spyware doctor is not free! I tried it and it's good! It also has active protection against spyware! As for spysweeper I never used it...

I've tried Adaware before, but it has limitations for some reason. Spysweeper is the best. It's not only thorough, but smart. It looks for and updates new threats EVERYDAY. I've used it for a year and have only gotten one virus, but it was my fault for not following instructions when I was downloading music and it warned me that the file could be malicious. It got rid of it though. Get spysweeper for your PC.

Spyware Doctor works really good. Ive used it for a long time, it doesnt just find the big stuff but it also finds the small stuff that can lead to bigger problems.
