Some people think its disgusting. But others think it might be a security thing. Just screw what everyone else thinks, if you care for that person... age doesnt matter.

It really depends on the two people. I am in a relationship with a 4 year difference. It's not an issue. What do those people have in common? Is it working out? I personally thing that age isn't an issue in a relationship. It rests greatly on the individual.

Well, I can only speak from my experience. When I was 19, I dated a guy that was 28. I dated him for about 2 years, and eventually we moved in together. Over time he grew very controlling, posessive, and mentally abusive. (Not to say that all men would act that way). He would never let me go out, or see my friends... even my family. He told me what to wear, he told me that I shouldn't work, or further my education! He always used my age as the reason he told me what to do and not to do. Saying that he's been thru that and can help me to avoid making mistakes. WHATEVER!!! That is one thing that you should look out for. If you hear those words, EXIT STAGE LEFT!! I got away from him! And as I said, not all men are like him... But for me, I swore that I would never date a guy that was that much older than me again.

I must be out of the loop...they are both legal adults hopefully mature....what is the question? I keep seeing these questions as if two adults of over 5 years age difference one is somehow a child molester?....throughout all generations of mankind men have tended to be older than there wives...I wish someone would explain to me why all of the sudden people are having a problem with this? Am I missing something? I have always dated younger women they were always mature enough to date and of legal age....someone e-mail me and explain what could possibley be the problem?

If the man is the older one it is not uncommon for him to go after a younger female (10 year difference) becaue he will mentally be in his prime and she will physically be in hers.
Mentally he has an edge over the female because he has had more experience and he can pull stuff on a younger female and get away with it rather than an older woman because she has been thru the mill more than once or twice so the older she is/// the less flexible she's going to be. Plus she's going to be hip to his bullscrap give him more of a hassel and is generally less attractive than a younger female.

I say its O.K, but u should be careful and make sure that he or she does not take advantage of you because of the age difference. As long as your at a legal age, then I think its fine.

If both people are really happy in that relationship then age really isn't a factor at all.
