Spinning flights were really designed to prevent flight deflection on tightly grouped darts. Instead of bouncing off the other dart the flight will rotate to allow another dart next to it.

Spinners are actually good for anyone who has a tendency to twist the dart as they throw. This causes the dart to curve either left or right. The spinner actually stabilizes the twisting therefore helping to correct the throw.

Some people in my dart league really like spinner flights, but many of the current models annoy me as they feel loose and wobbly. I used to use Dyna Star shaft and flight system, but I didn't really see the benefit and robin hooding those got very expensive.

It depends on you, you can keep on changing your darts and get know where. I have tried them there OK I found they helped a little when boxing three darts close together, however nothing beats a set your happy with.
Good luck

I don't like them. Make darts seem loose when playing. Some people think they help to stop darts from falling however in my opinion there not much help if any

True. But it might not be better for you. Some people throw darts funny, and the wobble is part of their aim. Check what the pros use, if you are serious about darts.

If you are a good quality player, the spinner flight will make a differnce, other than stick with your own flights

from an engineering standpoint, definitely. The barrels of long guns were cut in a spiral to become rifles (its called rifling) the spin created a gyroscopic action and therefore great stability....aim is still up to him
