I HATE bullies too. Avoid him as much as possible. I knew a guy who saved his money and hired some other kids (not from the same school) to beat the living sh#t out of this guy bullying him. He doesn't even have to know its connected to you. Pull up a chair and watch the gong show. You could do that. Money can make most problems go away - That's an important lesson.
You could try letting adults know. Parents, Teachers. I think this is kind of lame but if it works what the hell.

Find some way to protect yourself. You know kinder eggs? Take the plastic egg inside and fill it with a mixture of very find sand, baking soda, salt and if you're REALLY angry with him, ground glass.
The next time he tries to hit you, palm the egg, squeeze hard and toss the mixture into his face. When he's clawing at his eyes, proceed to kick him in the junk. Then kick his ribs until you hear the tell tale "CRACK".
Trust me, he won't bug you after that...
