Firefox

Firefox, Opera are both good. I love opera for it's smallest size and that it implements many features (useful ones like widgets, torrent files etc). One thing I hate at opera is that it doesn't have extensions! For this reason I love Firefox! If I need something, get an extension to do that! Firefox is best at checking scripts! So Opera and Firefox are good! IE is getting boring! It's the same old thing since 2002 (2001 let's be more exact!). Nothing has changed with it!

Firefox is WAY better than Internet Explorer.

Firefox is secure. VERY few bugs. And whenever a bug is found, an update is available within minutes. You get updates for Explorer VERY rarely.

Firefox is cusomizable. You can pick tons of themes to use with it, and they're all seamless in the way they operate. Explorer's "themes" are usually third-party productions taht are very rarely ever supported by Microsoft, meaning that there's a huge chance of a virus, spyware, adware, etc...

Firefox is faster. It doesn't take the time to process broken code like Explorer does. You can also tweak it to make it even FASTER than it comes "out-of-the-box", by altering the code (there are tutorials for "pipelining Firefox" all over the net).

Firefox is secure. It's incredibly hard to hijack Firefox and make it log passwords, email accounts, etc. Explorer has so many security holes that it's likely to be hijacked within minutes of connecting to the net.

Firefox is reliable. It doesn't crash as often as Explorer does, meaning that you don't have to restart your work.

Firefox has tabbed browsing. This means you can open up multiple sites without cluttering up your task bar. This also saves up on your system's resources, making it run even faster than having multiple Explorer windows open.

Firefox is also extendable. You can get plugins from Mozilla's site that'll allow you to add more options to Firefox, to make it run just the way you want it to. You can add all sorts of extensions to it. I've got one really awesome extension on my Firefox that allows me to EMBED Explorer in a seperate tab, for those rare sites that don't display properly in Firefox. There's tons of other helpful extensions.

Firefox is better, I still have my IE tho but I barely use it because there are some applications that can't be done thru Firefox.
I like the Tab browsing of Firefox because you don't get a crowded status bar! It is fast and looks great too.
Opera is okay too.

Both programs work fairly well. Firefox is more compliant with industry standards and due to less usage not as big a target for spyware. IE is being used by the majority of users worldwide and therefore is a bigger target for spyware. On the other hand many sites are being written for IE and just do not work as well when displayed with Firefox. For example IE improperly handles the alt parameter in images but many web sites use alt instead of title parameter just because IE uses it, albeit improperly.

As an Open Source Software advocate, I will say Firefox, for a variety of reason. (1). It's free, (2) It has a better engine behind it (Gecko), and (3) It's more user-friendly, as well as has features that IE hasn't incorporated, even though they've been around for a while (i.e. Tabbed browsing, RSS Feeds, etc.)

Firefox by far, the integrated popup blocker has secured my computer completely without download programs such as nortons. Also, its speeds webpage searchs. Also open multiple tables, Internet explorer has a lot of flaws.
Although it is most used, its very vulnerable to POPUPS!

I like firefox myself even though I have both IE and firefox. Firefox is just simpler and a cooler looking browser. Also it has tab so you have multiple windows open in one browser.

I like Explorer. My boyfriend has Firefox and I get confused everytime I try and surf. It is black and the toolbars are almost hidden. That's only one person's view, though. I hope others answer.
