People make fun of all kinds of things about other people. Youmust be sensitive to teasing or being made fun of, especially about your red hair. Personally, I love red hair. I even married a redheaded gal. Advice? Realize that until you are an adult, some idiot is always going to find something he/she thinks is smart to say about you or someone else you're with. Ignore the idiocy and live your life without those people.

I'm a natural redhead and used to get called names when I was young and in school(which I laughed off). I dye my hair different colours but when I leave it my natural colour, everyone comments on how beautiful it is. I haven't been made fun of for being a red head in years.

I know, it is ridiculous!
At least when people make fun of blondes it is for a reason (ie they are SUPPOSED to be dumb). I'm not saying they are dumb, just that at least it has some kind of (twisted) logic. I don't know anything associated with redheads other than they are fiesty.
Haircolour has nothing to do with personality, it is purely looks, and for what it is worth I am envious of my friends with red hair (mine is a sort of non colour, somewhere between brown and blonde).

Maybe cause they're jealous. Redheads are pretty and they can be firey, which is cool. If you're a redhead, be happy.
If it makes you feel any better blondes are made fun of way more than redheads. I say just laugh and enjoy the attention. You know who you are, and what's it to anyone else? Don't let anyone get you down.

I love redheads... they don't know what they are talking about. As a matter of fact... I understand redheads have some very unique qualities where genetics are concerned... able to handle pain much better than anyone else. But as far as red hair... I love it! Don't let anyone tell you different.

Because we're jealous. We think it's really cool how unique you are, and it's never meant to be harmful. If you don't like to be teased there are ways to combat it, mostly just smiling blankly and ignoring it. If you make a fuss people will keep doing it. I know it hates to have to work to stop abuse but it's better than trying to change people.
In time you may realize how special you are for being a redhead! and surely it can never be a bad thing! Enjoy yourself!

I didn't know they did. Allot of guys I know think they are sexy. Try growing up blond!!! Jokes from every one, then you have kids they NEVER let it go! Natural red heads are lucky! tried it once I looked stupid, wrong skin tone you guys have the best skin, I for one envy you.
