I would ask anyone for a suggestion. That doesn't mean that I would follow the suggestion.
I don't like to ask for favors. I would rather let people know that I need help and then consider my options if and when I get offers. I just hate the thought of "owing" a favor. I do things for people because I want to. (For completely selfish reasons - it makes me feel good about myself. It brings me pleasure to make others happy). Those are the same people that I would want to "allow" them to do me a favor for me. If I have a friend in need, and I can, I will help. If there is a stranger in need, and I can, I will help. If there is someone that I really don't care for, and they need a favor, I will probably still help, if I can.

I would ask any and everyone for a suggestion so that I can be sure I'm seeing the whole side of things then do what I choose.
As far as favours go......anybody I don't like, trust, or want to return a favour to.

I know a few that would do the favor but hold it over my head and expect something back. I don't like that. You do a favor because it is needed not so you can get something for it.
On the other hand, I never forget those who do a favor for me and I am more than willing to return it when needed.

No 1, if somthings worth doing do it your self, I would only take help from one of the only 3 people on Earth I know I can 1000000000% that I can trust and rely on.

hmm..let me think..like..never is so final..you know..never say never is pretty real!! but i wouldn't ask for a favor or suggestion to anyone i wouldn't trust..and that i would never wish to feel in some way in his/hers debt

There are alot of people I can think of. Some of them are family, some are people who are friends but not really close friends.
