For some unexplained reason when I'm in Yahoo mail, there are times that no matter what I do, I get "Page Cannot Be Found", which necessitates me to hit the 'refresh' button and that will bring me back to the place I was in before having that message come up. This has also happened when I finished composing an email and hit the 'send' button. It's a very frustrating problem, and I don't know the answer to the cause. Help!

You're not the only one complaining. Short answer: Yahoo is doing too many things at once..... new home page, beta mail, photomail, etc. etc. Whenever they do all these upgrades at once, other things suffer. Until management at Yahoo stops messing around with things that ain't broke, we are the ones who will suffer with the page not found or error or disconnect messages.

Lag, conflict in refresher rate.

The page your PC is trying to get has been updated since. The only errormessage that your PC knows is that one. If it could see it is trying to get a updated version it would do so I guess but it doesn't 'know' that.

Thats what happens when you use an online texteditor.
Using word/wordpad to make the message and psting it in could help but... well that brings new problems.

Generally it is a device somewhere between you and Yahoo. That server/router is either overburdened or misconfigured. The refresh is the right way to solve it. Otherwise you might just keep getting the 404 page from cache.

As the pages actually seem to exist the problem is with your internet connection. try pinging yahoo.com from the command prompt and i bet you have packet loss.

Probably because your getting lag spikes in your interenet meaning that you don't have a very strong connection.

It's probably your internet connection.
