That movie sucked. I sat there the entire time thinking:

1. Why am I here?

2. Why don't that woman just leave that man.

3. That dude is such a girl, no wonder is wife doesn't respect him.

No one questions the good-looking leads... but the movie was slow... I agree with someone who said earlier- If it was a movie about a heterosexual couple I would have walked out. The only reason I really stayed was just because there aren't a lot of homosexually centered movies on the big screen, and I am not a lesbian but my best friend is, along with a lot of the people I hang out with. It was good to see a movie that focused on glbt for a little while, but honestly, I just want to see a gay movie that isn't heartbreaking! Better Than Chocolate is really one of the only ones that makes me happy at the end...

I liked the movie. There were parts of it where it was kind of slow. I thought the acting was good, but I can still see why Phillip Seymour Hoffman won the Academy Award. I didn't mind those two kissing at all. Yum!

I thought it was a good, but rather overhyped movie. I thought it brought out the subject in a good way that is just not done by hollywood at all (though done many, many times by foreign filmmakers) and it was good that it was given mainstream exposure, but I do think that it wasn't as good a movie (cinematographically speaking) as it has been made out to look by the media.

I watched it just because it was a gay themed movie. I am a lesbian and I crave gay and lesbian themed media. If this was a straight love story I would have walked out of the theater because it was so slow. I think it was o.k. It did have great scenes and cinematography, but was long.

my opinion on broke-back mountain is one that it is down right morally wrong for the people of the world to embrace such a concept. ROY ROGERS GENE AUTRY, and all of Americas hero's are rolling in their graves from such bullshit.

I haven't seen it. I won't see it. I don't agree with the moral content of the movie so I have no desire to waste two hours of my life and my money on such.

I don't know what all the hype was about... it is just the same old love story where the couple can't be together... except it is with two guys....
