How about, "You know, you're much too good looking to be wearing something like that. You would be a whole lot more impressive if you wore something like . . . ."
Then fill in the blank with something that certainly will help her to look more impressive.

Well, you can go shopping with her, or take her shopping for some jeans and when she shows you what the low ones look like say no. Make sure you help pick out some that aren't lowrider and say those look good. If being subtle doesn't work you have to just tell her (but not in public).

Is she a friend? a girlfriend? Wait until you are out in public and point out to her someone who is smaller than her and a little less chunky and say "Can you believe that? Why does everyone think they can pull that off. She looks horrible all hanging out" Then look at her and say "don't you agree, some girls should just realize they're too big for that look". Now Maybe she will get the hint maybe it will take a few more times for you to point out other fashion atrocities, if it doesn't work and you truly care about her then take her to the side and tell her you think she's beautiful but that outfit or outfits plural make her look 20 lbs heavier. Be kind she will be hurt, but in the end deep down she knows you are right

Sure there is an easy way but not a nice one consider asking her why she wears the belly shirts and the ring maybe there is some underlying issue that she is striving for someone to ask about

maybe take a pic of her looking her worst with it all hanging out, then give it to her, and see if she sees it for herself. if she doesn't, maybe suggest a day of fun shopping; just trying stuff on for fun, and take pics of her in different outfits(that you suggest, ones that would be more flattering on her) and have her take pics of you, doing the same, so it's not obvious, then you could look over the pics later, at home, (including the one with the 'bad' outfit) and see if she notices on her own how much better she looks in the other styles. If not, you could comment on how great she looks in the better outfits, or have a few friends pick their fav, and really flatter her with how nice she looks in the outfits that cover more. (don't say, "oh, you look better in the less skimpy stuff"; just say something like, "wow; you look really great in that 3rd outfit you tried on". or whatever. That should work. A lot of times people who dress like that, (whether they have the body for it or not) are lacking in self asteem, which is why they do it; to try to improve their value in the way they look. Sometimes even the most gorgeous people who act like they are just "all that" are hurting inside, even though they don't admit it. Hope that helps!

How about, "The way your belly hangs out over your jeans like that -- it's so cute. Kind of like a muffin that was too full for the pan."
She'll either never speak to you again, get the hint and modify her wardrobe or think you liked it and wear even more revealing clothes.

Try telling her that lowrider jeans and belly shirts are for skanky hoes, and she is too classy for that kind of clothing. Tell her how sexy Heather Locklear looked on Melrose Place when she wore those business suits!

There really isn't an easy way to tell someone that but be honest. Maybe encourage another article of clothing that will not look bad for her shape like a skirt or something.

No there's not really a nice way. But if you tell them I bet they will be mad for a while but end up thanking you later. Maybe show them a person that does the same thing and tell them that is what they look like.

No! If there was I would tell the charming young lady in my office to stop wearing half of what she wears. It's a great diet plan, looking at her. Half of the time I can't eat my lunch with her rolls hanging out.
