My friends husband does the exact same thing. My friend decided that he can still have his game time AND still spend time with her. They made these little coupns so it lets her husband know that she wants to spend time with him. She gives him the coupon and he has to get off the computer within 5 minutes and has to spend time with her. Also they have limited the access to the computer down to 2 hours a day. This has helped a lot in their marriage. I hope this helps.

Been there! My ex would be under the *expletitive* video games all day. He refused to eat at the table with us, he just took his plate and eat it right by the TV. He owuld expendt most of his free time doing this, it upset me, he's idea of being together it was ME watching him play. He would complaint and whine while out because he wanted to finish his videogame.
What a loser. I finally had enough and divorced him.
Unless he is willing to give up his videogames in order to tend to his wife, give up. Suggest theraphy for videgame addiction, but he might think that you are crazy. It's worth to try.
Good luck.

What a loser ! He needs to grow up and be a man instead of a little boy. I'm 35 and grew up with video games but the only time I play them is when my son asks me to play with him for a while. Let him play his games and you can go play yours ; )

Love him where he is at and he may grow up and stop this so much someday. Offer to spend time with him playing video games with him. Become a part of his passion! He may need help and counseling and you may need marriage counseling as well. How much time do you spend with him?

you cant make him do anything, this I've learned. offer fun alternatives, and if he doesn't care than i guess all he wants to do is play games. go out without him and see if it doesn't get something out of him. it would piss me off too, but you have to ask yourself if its something you can live with. if not, leave his ***. tell him to marry the computer.
