Women seem to become very controlling after marriage. My friends dissapear and don't seem to be enjoying themselves. I know guys can be jerks but what should women do to make marriage a joy? I'm at that age but just don't see any marriages, as examples, that I would enjoy being in. (Don't say I would have to make my own special) I

Dude, you are a guy and you should know how we work. What guy in their right mind would tell their Friends that their marriage is the best thing that ever happened to them? I was the same way, we all love to get together and ***** about our wives but when we get home it's hi honey I love you. Dude, I have been married for 12 years and I have seen the ups and downs of it all and I would not change a thing. Find the right girl, love her with everything you got, and you will be happy for the rest of your life. Why do you think your Friend disappear? Because the enjoy being with their wives, the just will never tell you that.

I think Us woman become more responsible & maybe a little controling but it is all because all the responsabilities as a wife. For example i'm incharge of the house, the bills & kids, he has 2 jobs & the garden are his only "responsabilities" .But my hubby helps my w/ the kids & w/ shores at the house. That way we can have fun later, sometimes when we can we go & take our kids 2 grandma's at least for a night so we can go out & have time for us. But during the day we express our love by calling us or leaving hot text messages or e-mails, we like to play before, during & after making love it is fun & good for the relationship. Communication, trust is also important. We have being married for the past 4 years & it a has being good, ofcourse we do fight & have arguments like any other couple but most of the time is fun & more cuz we like to play w/ our kids.... Good luck findind a good example!!!

I dont think so . My wife and i enjoy it equally. We treasure and love each other. It is a good thing to make friends with other couples and be friends with people who you have things in common with. Just make sure to not put friends above your marriage. Does your wife not want you to have friends? Men can be controlling after marriage as well. This can go either way.

It can be fun for both u just gotta find the thing which will turn ur mate on and change things around every once in a while. Don't go with the same routine ur mate will get tired make things spontaneous.

your wife is supposed to be your wise counsel. If one does not see her value in your life - it is your loss. Perhaps the wife seems controlling because she is overcompensating for his irresponsibility
