good question i would like to think not but until both countrys come to their senses and get rid of the current leaders it looks that way

No, they're stronger. You get the impression from the media that they are strained, but America her mother country England will always stand together and support each other on the main things. Despite the differences, the US and UK are culturally the most similar countries (as well as Canada, Australia and New Zealand).

to D. Law: you left out Ireland. To: Ireland: Ireland has become our best trading partner and is becoming the European home of many corporations traded on US stock exchanges. Too small of a country to be much help militarily, not to mention the UK will not agree to let them arm.
