Assuming the around action is interior the vertical airplane, the sum of forces on the stone is f = MA = W +/- F, the sign reckoning on the place interior the circle the stone is. with the aid of fact the stone isn't accelerating alongside the radius R of gyration, f = SUM(radial forces) = 0 = W +/- F. meaning W = +/- F in vector format. F is the counteracting stress that makes the acceleration 0 alongside the radius. EX: while the stone is atop the circle, W = F = centrifugal - T = mv^2/R - T = mg. So the stress T = m(v^2/R - g) the place v = wR is the tangential velocity while the angular velocity is w. notice the internet stress f = W - F = 0, it particularly is 0. while the stone is on the backside, W = - centrifugal + T = - mv^2/R + T = mg so as that T = m(g + v^2/R), yet back the internet is 0.
