yes you can delete video off of an RW+/-. the only formats you can not delete from are the DVD-R or a DVD+R because they are directly recordable only not rewritable.

As for how many times you can use it, thats up to the disc, brand and how careful you are with it. When they became scratched they will not burn properly and the disc will have to be tossed if you want the best quality on a DVD-RW.

As for the added question i'm taking it to mean how long will it last, as in how long of a record time, generally most average dvd's can hold about 2 hours of high quality video transcoded on it.

It depends on how you formatted it. If you made a copy of a DVD you can erase the whole thing but not individual files. If you set it up in drag-n-drop mode you can delete one at a time. I'm not sure how many rewrite you can get. Let me know when you find out.

Yes, you can delete the video, since its rewritable. But how many times you can rewrite depends on the brand, quality, and type of disk you are using. Theoretically, its infinite.

yes u can do that. its not possible to say till what time will u be able to use ur RW cos it depends on the type and quality of the cd. generally it works out great
