or are you more practical? I think I'm a bit of both, I know bad things happen,but I like to think that maybe one day,it'll all work out nicely

ya i do...hope I'tll happen to me too...but it definitely exists. but i guess it does'nt come easy and does'nt probably happen the way you want it to ...but i know it happens...isn't that the whole purpose of life ...t o be happy... :)

When i think of happily ever after, i think of being in a relationship. I know that there is no such thing as happily ever after in a relationships because people get old and die and no matter how happy you were with them there will always be sadness when someone that you love leaves your life. But i do think that it is possible to have a truly happy life no matter how much money you make or how smart you are. Happiness is in the mind of the person.

There was a time I did. But life kinda got in the way of that. Now i believe "happily ever after" is what you make of it. It's two people who genuinely love each other and truly want to work at a relationship...together. That, to me is the real "happily ever after"

It depends on what you mean by "happily ever after."

If "happily ever after means, success in romance, family, career, material wealth, or anything else in this world, then it could happen, but it doesn't happen for everyone and nothing is guaranteed. Plus even if a person receives those things, it won't necessarily ensure their happiness (often they only want more).

But there is happily ever after in God. You can know God and learn to be content in Him. The Apostle Paul discovered this kind of happiness in Christ.

Philippians 4:10
"...I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, weather well fed or hungry, weather living in plenty, or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

In the Old Testament, King Solomon was one as the wisest kings in the world. He also discovered this happiness through contentment in God. The book of Ecclesiastes is all about it.

So, yes, there is happily ever after in God, though life on earth will never be perfect.

On the other hand, after this life on earth is over, there will be eternity, and heaven will be perfect. That really will be "happily ever after."

I think that happily ever after is highly overrated. We cannot expect to live like movie stars or be as happy as they proclaim. Everyone has their problems, every family and relationship. You can achieve happiness yes, but to actually live happily ever after only when you reside in heaven. I do believe as you though bad things happen, but yes, in the end hopefully everything will work out nicely. Hardly anything ever works out as planned, but you can have happiness as far as it being happily ever after....that's up in the air literally up in the air. I think I'll have my happily ever after when I'm in heaven. While I reside here it's w/ my husband, my prince, he's my happily ever after.

I'm very practical, but yes, I believe in happily ever after, once you meet the person for you.

I am very blessed to have met my husband when I was 19, we married when I was 20, and 5+ years later... we are living happily ever after.

The world is made up of opposite forces, and these will always be operating, good and bad, night and day, joy and sorrow, etc.
However, I still like to believe that, on balance, things will work out for the best overall.
There will be good days and bad days, ups and downs but, I like to think, more ups than downs, overall.
Just enjoy the journey.

up until recently i did believe in happily ever after but you know things change and outside forces have alot to do with it now im just more practical

Happily ever after is how we wants things to be. Its something that gives us hope. But really, u can't be happy forever without ups and downs because those ups and downs are actually contributing to your happines without you knowing about it most of the time.

i think i'm just the same...i started out believing that everything works out and things last and happily ever totally exists...but now that i'ave seen abit more i think that life 's got tones of twists and things usually dont work out...and so now i just hope and wish that the happily ever exists but do i believe we'll all find it....no way !!:)
