Does anyone know of any amertican who retired and now live in Cuba....................?. If yes how does one go about doing it and Why ?.........

Cuba has millions of wonderful, decent people. Tens of thousands of Canadians vacation there annually. Fly from Toronto, no problem. Just don't let your government find out ... you could be plotting an invasion!!

1. Americans are not allowed to go to Cuba (American Law).
2. Actually, the law is Americans are not allowed to spend any
money in Cuba.
3. If you are caught you will be facing a big fine from the American
government.
4. You are only allowed to stay in Cuba a certain length of time.
(Cuban law)
5. Number 4 would make it impossible to retire in Cuba as you
would only have a few months.
6. If you want to go spend a few months in Cuba then you would
have to travel from another country. (Canada, Mexico, etc)
7. Tell the Cuban customs officer not to stamp your passport.
8. Have a great time in Cuba, its a fantastic country and the
people are great.

No, I don't know anyone. You cannot go to Cuba and retire unless you want to lose your U.S. citizenship. Cuba is off limits even for travel for U.S. citizens.
