Report him to Human Resources. What he's doing is illegal.

You can follow AnnaM's advice and report the manager to the Human Resources department. That may or may not help the situation. You manager sounds like a bigoted airhead. There seems to be a lot of that going around in all shapes sizes and colors. Perhaps it is time to look for another job. That is the other option. Don't look at it as running. You deserve better treatment than what you are getting so you are nurturing yourself. Perhaps there is a better opportunity out there for you. Who wants to work for a bigot? Certainly not I.

It depends on where you live. In Florida, for instance, there is rarely any recourse for an employee - it's an employer friendly state. I had breast cancer and got fired for "missing too much work" because of radiation/ 3 surgeries / pleurosy from radiation. We even lost our home. If a boss doesn't like you for whatever reason in the state of Florida, you may as well try to find another job. Sorry you're going through this. People can say it is illegal but when you find out the actual law, you will be surprised as hell.

Well, if you can actually get in writing somehow (i.e. In an e-mail conversation) you could complain to the manager above the manager. If that doesn´t work, then you may have a case for Constructive Dismissal, which is the name for when you deliberately mess an employee around to make them resign, since you have no grounds to actually fire them yourself. Remember though, you´ll need some kind of evidence to back this stuff up, otherwise you may have difficulty convincing people...

Make a log of his/her comments and any diciplineary actions taken against you. Write down what the situation was, what was said, time and date it ... then call an attorney when you get fired.
You could be the next Manager! Let me know when you're hireing.

Regardless if you have proof or not document everything that happens. Keep a diary if you have too. Ask co workers if they have noticed anything. Express your concerns to your supervisor or Human Resources if for no other reason than to document that you complained. Best Wishes

If he is making comments about other races that is so illegal. Correct me if I am wrong but he is also creating a hostile work environment and the is also illegal. Please do not put yourself in a position to be alone with this person and go to human resources as soon as possible

IF you can prove it, then contact your local OSHA(U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Organization). If your job is a Union one, contact your local Union office as well. You can also try to go to your managers boss and file a complaint.

If he fires you, you can sue the company for discrimination. Companies, by law, are not allowed to let go of people for religion, race, creed, or ethnicity. Also, report the business to the BBB.

This is sad. Talk to the man and maybe he will change. There is too much senseless hate in this world. All good people should learn to live together and work together or there will be no future.

Now date with the manager, he will not fire you. He fires you out of jealousy.
