Well ... the bush economy is based upon cutting taxes and borrowing vast sums of money from communist China to make up the difference.

So if we are to follow our leaders' example .. the we should all be going into deep credit debt.

Alaska pays and does not tax thier residents!
www.earthrights.net/docs/oilrent thats oilrent on the end; they do this with just 1 commodity. With all commodoties in your state what's their excuse for not paying you? What's the feds excuse with all the millions of resources at their disposal for not paying you 50 times what Alaska pays? Kuwait and Dubia use this system to pay and not tax their people! Kuwait paid $58,000 y before the first gulf war. America has sooo many more commodities to work a system like this it's not funny!
www.permanentenergy.com shows a pollution free way to make electric power cheap and overabundant. Building these power plants would make millions of high wage jobs. The feds want us poor and working so much we don't have the time or money to jump into their BS! They keep bumping up the taxes on everything to keep us from the money. This started during the Veitnam war because of all the kids protesting the war. There were so many protesters that officials had use helicopters to get around. The throngs of kids blocked up all the streets. So OUR gov put in a program to take away our money. They did this with the taxes and raised them every year on something to keep us from getting in their shorts!

No, it's their own fault. But in this blame someone else for all our problems mentality world, it has to be someone else's fault. So, if you want to know why Americans are so much in debt, look to the parents of the current generation. If they had taken the time to educate their children about the things our lousy government schools forgot to teach them, they would not be in debt. Or, if it will make anyone feel better, you could say that they are following the great example of our political leaders who spend money on such stupid things as bridges to nowhere in Alaska.

You know home economics should really be mandatory in all schools. Probably at the middle-school level.

I don't like Bush at all, but it's not his fault that someone runs up a high credit card bill. Make sacrafices to save money. I have some credit card debt, but it's my fault for buying a crappy car that needed a lot of repairs. Bush may suck as a leader, but I'm not gonna blame him for my debt.

No, and I don't feel sorry for those that you are referring too because I'll put money on it that the very same people also have mulitple TV's in their house, paid TV service, a late model car or two, ipods, DVD players, etc. etc. etc.

Our society has become too comfortable with too many "necessities."

Credit cards should only be looked at as another form of cash. If you couldn't buy it now with money you have, you shouldn't be charging it.

Nope, I know better but I know a LOT of people who are.

What's sad is that is true and our gov't passed a bill making it very hard to file for bankruptcy which will basically leave you homeless or in jail if it gets that bad.

If you all have a brain, you'll pay off the credit cards and leave them alone.

Bush's fault for people using their credit cards? Umm i think not. Thats what the democrats would have you think. If it is anyones fault it is the people that are putting themselves into debt like that, not bush's
