I am reading so many commentaries supporting the murder of innocents in Afghanistan and Iraq. It frightens me that so many of you think that, by labeling these people terrorists, it's fine to continue the slaughter. I would like to hear specifially from the Christians. Who would Christ slaughter?

Who would Christ slaughter? Nobody. How come nobody knows that?

Dorie, I hope to god you're just some kid of 16 or so. If you're an adult, our nation is in serious trouble.
Iraq and Afghanistan have democratically elected governments. Everyone is invited to particpate in the political process. However, the terrorists do not want to share power. They want a strict, Islama-fascist state where they rule as tyrants. They want sole power. They want to impose their will on everyone. There will never be any peace until these people are eradicated.
These people are not "freedom fighters". You can't fight for freedom when your own country is already free!
There is a huge difference between being for peace and being anti-war. Throughout history, some conflicts simply could not be resolved by peaceful means. Nazi Germany could have been given endless concessions, but they would have waged war against its neighbors anyway.
These terrorists are the same. Please, learn from history.

I see that Dorie really wants to drive home the point that Christ would not kill anyone. She is correct, for many reasons. First, if Christ came down in human form, the Islamic zealots would kill him on sight the first chance they got. They would shout, "filthy infidel, false prophet, denier of Muhammed".
Then they'd kill him, spit on him, drag his body through the streets, and then hang the corpse from a bridge. Oh wait, they already did that with our soldiers who were trying to liberate them from Saddam..... so maybe the loving followers of Muhammed would come up with a more original way to slaughter Jesus.
So, back to the question: who would Christ kill? If he survived the Muslim crowds, he might try to preach to them. That's how he gained notoriety, through rational discourse. Of course, the Muslims might get bored with someone who doesn't just mindlessly shout "JIHAD, JIHAD", while pumping his fist in the air, so a few people might start throwing stones. Jesus could try preaching inside, but there's that whole dirty infidel thing.... I don't think they'd let him in the Mosque.
Back to reality.... if Jesus came, he wouldn't have to kill anyone. He has supernatural powers. We don't. We have to make the tough decisions about how to help civilize countries that have previously only known only the iron-fisted rule of a tyrant. Converting to democracy is a messy process. Some people just don't want to play nice.
Yeah, Jesus wouldn't have to kill anybody. He's lucky.

Supporting murder of innocents? You mean like the people who support the insurgents, who deliberately murder innocents? That would be Mohammed and Allah.
Because nobody supporting the US led coalition liberation of Iraq supports murder of innocents. We understand, adults that we are, that innocent people die during wars, a fact that cannot be helped. But we do not support the deliberate murder of innocents, like the alleged incident in Haditha.
You are very misinformed and have a lack of comprehension about Christianity. Mohammed was the murderous SOB, Christ wasn't.

The guy above me has a pretty right wing view. Contrary to popular belief, Terrorist didn't wake up yesterday and go "lets go bomb some buildings and cars.", they decided to do it because they hate America so much. And honestly, who can blame them. We drove into their nation with our tanks, destroyed their towns and now where occupying them. I'll set up a theoretical, what if china was the super power and decided that they didn't like how bush handled things. Then they came over here, bombed our buildings, killed our leaders, soldiers and civilians. Then refused to leave after years and years. You might harbor a lot of hatred also.

nobody. I think that, just like when the US didn't really exist yet and the people fought against britain, the people in Afghanistan and Irag are "freedom fighters" trying to save their country from being controlled by us.

nicely they did no longer gain lots by ability of death did they? "and don't point out the inquisition and tell me that Christians kill human beings, with the aid of fact Christians do no longer kill human beings because it particularly is opposite to the instructions of Jesus, and a sin against God." certainty contradicts this
