But here is the basic reason for all of the mess ups Bush has committed. The numbers below are the estimated IQs of the Presidents listed. Compare G.W.s to Clinton's. The answer should be obvious.

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald R. Ford (R)
176 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald W. Reagan (R)
98 George H. W. Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
91 George W. Bush (R)

These numbers were arrived at by specialists who analyzed speeches, news conferences, and the writings of all of the Presidents. The scores are considered accurate to within five percentage points. An interesting note is that G.W. is the only President to take office without having a body of written work to evaluate. Also, according to another source, the records of his term as Texas governor have been sealed.

This is a quote from the post listed on the url mentioned above.

"No president other than Carter (D) has released his actual IQ, 176. Among comments made concerning the specific testing of President GW Bush, his low ratings were due to his apparent difficulty to command the English language in public statements, his limited use of vocabulary (6,500 words for Bush versus an average of 11,000 words for other presidents), his lack of scholarly achievements other than a basic MBA, and an absence of any body of work which could be studied on an intellectual basis. obviously that extremely long answer given was from someone who JUST watched Fahrenheit 9/11. just because you watched a documentary doesn't make you an expert on politics sweetie. George W. Bush is an idiot who cant speak proper English HOWEVER, he isn't the only person who makes decisions in this country. We (the US) are not run by a single person, or a monarchy so therefore he doesn't decide what goes, he is only the spokesperson for the United States, he relays what the senators decide and announces it to the world. We would still be in Iraq even if he weren't elected because that's what the Senate wanted, and that's what the rest of the politicians wanted. People need to learn to support the decisions of their country, don't believe everything you hear, the news tells you the bad things because that's what people will pay to hear. My fiance has been in Iraq for 10 months now and I know first hand there have been improvements. Think about it, if you saw on the news EXACTLY what was going on, Terrorists and other threats would also know EXACTLY what was going on and would use it against us. just trust the fact that we have amazing soldiers fighting to keep these killers from killing more innocent people.

Politicians are puppets. Theoretically they should be in charge, but that's not nearly so important as that they look in charge. Bush is a poor liar, which is bad because his job requires him to lie a lot, and it shows. He's also a terrible public speaker, prefering to "wing" it, than to read his own speeches. He has difficulty pronouncing words, and trips over his own phrases often. This does not inspire a sense of command. President Bush isn't just a horrible President, he's not even a good puppet. Instead of unifying the country, he's managed to rip the middle right out of it. By appealing to the darker side of my religion, he's managed to garner the love of the "bible" belt and alienate both coasts. With luck, history won't call him the worst president ever, because hopefully the damage he's caused can be repaired and forgotten in a few years, but I don't think so.

1) He shouldn’t been elected the first time and only reason he won the 2nd time was because we were in the middle of Iraq war he contrived probably just to get reelected.

2) He’s stupid. He can’t talk and is not a good leader. He’s not a role model anyone can look up to. He does not inspire confidence that he is doing a good job or the right thing. Morons and idiots should be barred from public office because they are not able to handle complex tasks such as running the most powerful nation in the world.

3) He has strong ties to Oil and Gas companies, who think the best solution for becoming less dependant on Foriegn Oil is to invade other countries, spend hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of American lives in a foolhardy task, rather than make serious investment in next generation fuels.

4) His enviromental policy sucks. He thinks drilling in Alaska Artic preserve is ok. He thinks less restrictions on pollution is ok. He has made no effort to address the Kyoto treaty.

5) He vacations alot, which means he is lazy. He expects other people to the job for him. He always looks to blame other people for his mistakes. (Hurricane Katrina)

6) He is openly Christian and ties his religion too much to his politics. The USA is about equal representation and diversity. We need to work VERY hard on making people other religions feel like they are welcome in our culture. 9/11 and the backlash by anti-western fundamentalists is proof of this. Occupying another nation is NOT the best way to do this.

7) DMCA and the Patriot Act were responsible for the loss of personal freedoms resulting in corporate America and the federal government perscuting the American people unjustly.

8) Very, very bad economic policy resulting in a drastic rise of national debt. Privatizing Social Security is a really bad idea.

9) Other countries do not respect him. He is a poor representation of the quality of people who should be leading this nation.

10) Finially, I think he is a horrible president because he starts things but doesn’t finish them (Afganistan/Bin Laden) and also he makes bad decisions and doesn’t admit to them (Iraq).

The best explanation is because he doesn't do what you want him to do. Other than that it would have to do with you and not him as to why you perceive him as a horrible President. I think that he's a great President because he stands for traditional morality and doesn't bend his knee to anyone but Jesus Christ.

Unlike other presidents who would wet their finger and hold it up in the air in order to see which way the winds of political correctness and popular opinion were blowing, President Bush has God's eternal and perfect Word as a true moral compass and he isn't afraid to admit that mankind needs wisdom that comes from above instead of being "wise in our own eyes". The type of president yo are looking for is one who is like a donkey that obeys the tug of the reins and the crack of the whip. In other words it's "wimpership" not leadership that would make a good president in your eyes.

Bush is probably one of our better presidents, if you will look at the situation with open eyes. Look at everything that he inherited from Clinton, and then look at everything else that has happened. Iraq, Hurricane Katrina. Come on now, give the man a break. He's doing the best he can do with what he has to work with. No other president has been this bombarded with so many MAJOR issues.

He has underestimated the demands of being President of the United States. He can't speak properly. He is always under prepared. He was inadequate in the New Orleans disaster. He was slow to respond on September 11, 2001. He is insincere. He is incompetent. He lacks etiquette. He isn't dumb - but he is ruthless.

On the plus side - he does have sense of humour. But he still doesn't cut it I'm afraid. Think of all those more than qualified people who could be President. And look at who the USA voted for!

Bush manages to destroy our advantages and maximize the negatives.
Two examples:
1) Clinton left us with a budget surplus for the first time in years. Bush has managed in a few short years to break records for the largest budget deficit ever.
2) After 9/11 there was an unprecedented, amazingly high level of sympathy and support for the U.S. worldwide. It only took Bush 1 1/2 years to maximize anti-Americanism worldwide.

And finally, not only was invading Iraq a mistake, but he has managed to maximize the problems by the poor conduct of the war effort. Bush is the worst supporter of our troops by not supplying them with what they need and for sending them into war when it was clear that the benefits of fighting Saddam were absolutely unclear. Our intelligence data on Iraq didn't fail us. Bush and his adminstration failed to consider our intelligence information.

I dont think bush is that horrible of a President. You listen to much of the Liberal news media. Because of Bush, the economy is good and unemployment is at record lows. The liberal media would have you believe otherwise. Start going to alternative sources like drudg report or listen to conservative radio where they tell you the truth.

I don't think it's so much that he is a terrible President as much as he presents himself in a bad light. He isn't very charismatic and is not a good public speaker. Therefore, when he tries to explain the reasons behind his decisions, he comes across looking irrational and uninteligent. Even if his decisions are well thought out and informed, he doesn't do a very good job at presenting them that way. I think this is why people see him as a 'bad president', simply because he makes himself appear that why by not being able to explain his actions very well. Of course that is just how I see it.
