Republican, voted for him twice, but I should say I voted against Gore and Kerry more then I voted for GW. I actually voted for McCain in the California primary in 2000 because I was never a GW fan....that said I still have no regrets. To think for a moment Kerry or Gore could have done anything better is pretty darn silly. Sure we could have "avoided" going to war in Iraq like BJ Clinton did for 8 years but eventually it was going to happen. Once we kicked al queda out of Afghanistan where do you think they went? By the way Al-Zakari (al queda leader) was in Iraq before we we're (read the NY Times - said so today).

I voted for him both times; I became a Republican after voting for Clinton the first time and regretting it; and no, I don't regret voting for Bush because Kerry would have been worse.

Or rather, after research I was unable to tell WHAT Kerry would be like, and I can imagine people worse than Bush.

I don't vote, but my husband did both times, and we don't regret it one bit! I don't like the man too much (Bush I mean lol), but he was better for the job than the other candidates.
All independents do is split the votes anyway. I would LOVE to get a good independent in a race though. It'll never happen.

I didn't vote for him either time so I hope you don't mind my answering anyway.I am not affiliated with any party.I vote strictly on the merits of the candidate.I do tend to lean toward the Democratic side.It seems to me that Bush's performance has gone steadily downward after his first term and the polls back this up.His cabinet is corrupt and everybody around him seems to be under investigation or resigning. Not exactly a warm and fuzzy feeling.Look for Biden or Guilliani in 2008.

Voted for him both times, would vote for him again if he was the best candidate. I have not seen a strong democrat who could persuade me at all since Clinton. Gore and Kerry were a joke. If the Dems put forth Hilary they will definitely NOT get my vote. She is way to left for me.

I voted for him both times and I'd do it again if I was given the choice. I don't agree with him on every issue, but who fully agrees with anyone they vote for?

I voted for him both times. Registered Republican. Don't agree with everything, but fundamentally he was the best option.
