for a while i,ve been cotemplating getting back in contact with a guy i went to school with,i really miss him and i cant stop thinking of him but being that its been so long(9 years) im thinking he may be skeptical by me calling him after all this time. how can over come being nervous about things or whats the best way to break the ice?

Well if you have his email/mailing address i would mail him a letter first and then that way if he wants to see you he has the controll now. If you dont have that then call him while you think he may be at work and leave a message. Again it puts the ball in his court.

Go for it. I have always regreted never contacting a guy I went out with in high school. He moved away and I am married now so I will never know what might have been...He will just always be "the one that got away". I will never forgive myself for breaking up with him and breaking his heart. I blew it bigtime.

the best way to overcome it is to just do it...what do you have to lose?? it's been 9yrs if he doens't wanna talk to you no biggie it's not that serious...just calm down and call him more than likely he will probably be flattered that after all this time you still think of him. good luck!!
