Just to be safe remember these:
Do not use too high protection levels (higher risks with chemicals).
It is always better to cover yourself with clothes than use sun cream.
Wash the cream of after sun.
Do not use too much cream.

You didn't say what your skin tone is, so whatever you so be safe. Don't wear anything without some type of sunscreen. I have medium skin and I wear SPF 4 and get a really nice tan without burning.

if you go to the tanning bed and before you go in put on tanning lotion any kind and you will get extra dark!!!
