The old British system was the best. Nurses had to work their way up in the workforce. This way they new everything about their job (both academicly and practacly) before they became full time nurses. This is a system that North America lacks. Everything is University and that only teaches you academic knowledge. These nurses never learn to deal with patients till they are in the work force. I have had too many missed vains to know that this isn't the best system.
