I am a heavy drinker and it has caused problems for 20 years or so since i was 16, since meeting sher i have cut down and in the last month i have stopped altogether. No person on the planet has had such an overwhelming effect on me before and i love her so much for it.

Absolutely, I've had it go good and I've had some questionable changes too. Once I was in love with this lady who was a school principal and I was going to all kinds of different functions that I never would have gone to normally. Then there was the time I was in love with a stripper....let's not go there. It's a pretty common thing in my observations to see people doing all sorts of things they normally don't do when in love.

yes. I do a lot now that I thought I would never do. But some of the things are because it's easier than arguing with him, rather than because I want to!
I have also found myself NOT doing things I want to or would do because he won't do them with me.

yes and it sucks...but then again there was a thin line between love and infatuation...and it was called insanity!!! cause i thought i must be totally crazy for taking my ex back..after we broke up 5 times in the past year!! the last time we broke up was 6 months ago because she wanted be a stripper more than she wanted to be with me...and then we got back together!!!....call it what you want to call it cause i sure as hell dont know...

Yes, definitely. But only when the relationship wasnt a healthy one. I never did anything that wasnt "me" in the relationship I have with my husband.

When I was younger and more naive, yes. Now I think twice if its too compromising. However, that will change if/when I have children. I'll probably compromise myself with no issues then.

Well, of course, isn't that part of what loves about? You do things for one another because you love each other so deeply.
