Do you want the amount of the discount or the final cost?
(20% of $110 = 0.20 X 110 or $22.00 is the discount)
You would pay 80% of $110 = 0.80 X 110 = $88.00. Or,
$110 - the $22 discount = the same $88 final cost.
This is grade school arithmetic (don't even THINK of calling it MATH). Did you go to grade school? Did you learn ANYTHING?

20% of 110 is 22, but if youre paying for something you pay 88 bucks. by the way, this is a lame question, what you do to find the fnal price is
orginal price - (original x discount)
20% = 0.2.
