wat i know is dat system32 is in the c:window folder. but then, my system32 is under d folder c:$WIN_NT$.~BT. why is dis do? is dis d reason why my task manager do not appear and wen it is rum manually, it says dat it was being used by another application. help me plz

Ohhhh it sounds like you got some crappy mal-ware. You need to go download a program to get the crud out. That happens to me fairly often.
And I lost my system 32 folder too from that. But its just hidden. Heres what I do I go in the address bar in "My Computer" and type in: "C:\WINDOWS\system32" and it takes me right to it. As to fixing the problem I dont know how. Just get a good virus scanner.
Oh and when you remove the virus (or whatever you wanna call it) You should be able to use your taskman again. This is probably the only way to do it so ya

In your windows file within the C drive. You have indicated that your file is in a "temporary file" that is not correct. What version of windows are you using???

should be c:\windows
