The truth is actually slightly bitter. The future is not indicated thru lines or kundli. If you claim it is million year old science that works I want to add the following
1. To a certain (limited ) extent it predictions are based upon psychological analysis of the person. Of course what is said in age old books helps the predictor. He knows by knowledge and experience what are the problems generally faced and likely outcomes from situations the person who is asking the question is facing. To support his words there is sufficient theory both for and against in each predictive science.
2. Human psychology is molded by what the person expects. A pessimist is much less likely to achieve than an optimist. A predictor can raise hopes and motivate a person, so he works as per the predictions and generally achieves the result, The negative also holds. That is if indicated that you would fail the chances of your failure are increased unless you had strong faith in yourself ( but then you would have not approached the predictor to help you out)
3. There is something called placebo effect which is scientifically proven. The body chemistry changes according to the faith a person has in healing medicine and not just because of medicine. That is to say if someone could strongly get convinced that he would recover ( from illness in world of medicine) then a large percentage of such people do recover) check for ..placebo effect for more information.
The seemingly accurate predictions of past (or future) is general a result of analyzing the expressions of the listener. Even if the listener tries not to show expressions there are subtle facial expressions that are involuntary ( that is they cannot be controlled and reveal the state of mind. Much research is being done into it and these expressions are now being used to identify criminals) A predictor may not be aware of the science but they are expert at it,
There are several other reasons
-- The predictor generally speaks on many issues concerning past and quickly settles on the ones where he gets response ( verbal or non verbal ) from you. A girl who invariably used to tell accurately any disease a person may have suffered in the past, failed to give accurate predictions when the other persons were asked to absolutely not speak even a word and keep their eyes covered so that she does not read clues from the eyes.
-- There are plenty of clues regarding a life a person has been living. The way he dresses, looks, his tone and assertiveness and general presentation. A doctor would talk in a different manner than a beggar,
---Even the Nadi astrologers who claim to tell you your past very accurately .. ask you several questions . The answers to these reveal enough information to help them.
THERE IS NO ASTROLOGER OR PREDICTOR WHO HAS ALWAYS GIVEN AND SHALL ALWAYS GIVE CORRECT RESULTS
There are some people who claim to have supernatural powers like having divya drishti ( able to see across time and space) . During cold war KGB used some of them for their aid . (Like for tracing missing persons, finding who was behind a crime for which it had no clues). Some times they were successful. But their failures slowly became so much that their role became insignificant. Today many universities teach parapsychology. In fact massive research has been done and is being done in the area of unexplained ( to find if a person can change something from happening.. can predict accidents.. earthquakes ) but there are NO POSITIVE results. There is nothing to support this.
===>>> I wish to add that some parasychic phenomena and capabilites of some humans remain unexplained and have not been understood fully. In some cases complete explanation might not be possible. But it is the (rare case) predictor and not the lines of hand or kundli that is unexplained.

Palmistry is no more than a scam to get people all worked up over something that may or may not happen. I think what happens in a person's life depends on the decisions that they make and not on what some freak says they see in the palm of their hand. I also believe that if you read your Bible and use a lil common sense you will have no doubt about where you end up in life, about what financial prosperity you will have, what kind of person you will love or will love you or what roads to take in life.

i had a psychic/palm read in London around 8 years ago by a woman who i had never seen in my life before and vice versa, she told things about my past which completely threw me as i was a COMPLETE sceptic at the time but was cajoled by a girl that i was nailing back then so anyway this woman not only told me my future but ALSO some friends - ALL of it has become reality even the bad times as she held nothing back,i would love to go into more detail as she explained which lines mean't certain key events and the year which they would happen but cannot - i will say only this -the lines YOU all possess are like a book about your past, present and more importantly the future whether it will be good or bad....

the lines of hands is depends on your basic of action such is Work, speak, Walk, etc..the are 9 planet, time of karma (action) time changes sometime u get good or bad.the palmistry tells about past and future of your destiny..it tells all about only the your today's predition because the line of your hand changes one time to another
year because of your action and planets always stand still..

~I had a real problem with this. My phrenologist told me my head bumps said one thing but my palmist said my palms said the exact opposite. I was so schizophrenic, I couldn't function. I had my hands amputated and I'm doing much better now. Except I've got to type with my nose.

The good or bad that happens to us is all in our hands. We have to strive to do our best everyday and that will change our "luck".God created us and only he knows what is in store far us in the future. We can change our future by what we do today.
It is like what Shakespeare wrote in one of his dramas, Julius Caesar-"The fault Brutus is not in our stars but in ourselves.

You shouldn't take either one serious. That is ridiculous. Look at them as a form of entertainment. That is all they are.
