It's still only a script written by the rapper Cuban Link (Felix Delgado). There are currently no plans to make it into a movie.

Through the story, the author tells about how the character, Tony, is faced with trials and tribulations that don't stop in his life. The author says that The Son of Tony will be a classic after the movie is told and done. If you've seen Scarface, wait till you see The Son of Tony.

There is no talk about it being in production or even being worked on in any way possible. Ive searched, and I've never even heard of someone wanting to make a sequel or a prequel to this movie. I actually would hope they won't. If they do they will ruin scarface entirely. Most sequel's ruin movie's, especially if the first is a monsterous hit. And the story being about his son, that would be rediculous. Lord I hope they don't make this movie, because if they do then that means people have lost there minds.

I think I am the only straight guy in the world that havn't watched scarface. I think they should have a sequal so it can forced me to watch the previous scarface to know what's going on. But to answer your question, I think they need to find another Tony Montana and I think Al Pacino is perfect for the role cus he look so much like Scarface. But I think Al pacino is too old for it.

I never heard that a sequal to Scarface was being made. The orginal was a great movie so if there is a sequel I will watch it.
