I think the 5 time duplicates are from the sender not yahoo

I have never had that problem, and I have used yahoo for yonks.It is possible your senders server only does a timed deliver and saves all mail until its ready to do a massive send.

Yahoo has done it to me to. I dont know why they do that. I dont like it because i will just go a couple of days with out checking my mail and i will end up having over a thousand email.

NO CLUE!
Its really f-d up though, I hate when that happens.
I always end up getting like 30 at a time (late). And usually they post the new mail as if you got it when you were supposed to- its a conspiracy! Yahoo is scanning through our mail to make sure we're not smuggling cyber-cocain.
I also hear that they won't allow emails from companies with graphics to come through unless the company pays them! I like can't get my victoriassecret newsletters anymore- stupid stupid stupid! ahh!

I'd guess its a problem with Yahoo!'s Virus Scanner, i cant think of a better place for emails to get delayed - except if they read our mail first that is...
