I hate the corporate work environment. I can't stand the methods that managers use to make their employees conform. I don't have much respect for authority.

Bottom line, I'm a hard worker, but I don't appreciate a supervisor telling me how I need to correct my life so that I don't mind giving up my free time for the company without compensation.

Any suggestions for a career path?

I offer free counseling for people in your position. Often times the correct path for you may be some form of self employment. First, we may need to see what your are good at. Then we need to determine if you have the drive and skills necessary for running your own company. There are lots of self employment opportunities even if you have no money to invest. Want more details? Send me an email at boatclub@go.com . I will start with my standard questions to learn your specific characteristics. Self employment means hard work but its where the big bucks are.

Work for a small company (preferably run by europeans - they're way more relaxed) and keep your private affairs private. If you broadcast drama, you're likely to hear supervisor's opinions about it.

I feel the same way about authority. I love the company I work for, they let me get my work done and don't hassle me. Good luck to you!

Well, every job has supervisors. You will need to climb the "ladder" if you want to be more higher up and not have as many direct supervisors. We all have to start somewhere you know!

Problems with authority won't help you find a job. Find your best talent, and find a way to make money doing it self employed.
