Because Hollywood has nothing else to do but make remakes and waste lots of money on films nobody wants to see . i am pretty sure i will want for some of these movies to come out on DVD, but even then it still feels like a waste of money,time, and energy.

They made the movie b/c the book was so popular. The controversy surrounding it was ridiculous, why start protesting the movie when you didn't protest the book? Just something the media made a big deal out of, in my opinion.

If someone wants to write a story, why should it bother anyone? Seems that people really liked the story- seems that Christians who are upset about it are really defensive. Why be so defensive about a "story" if you believe your beliefs are the "truth"? Seems there are more questions than answers...

I was thinking the same thing. What is the big deal if he was married, or human. Isn't it enough to be a great man? What's the big deal.
