If a American fall in love with a Mexican and wanted to get married, would your (american) family be happy and give their blessing or say no and try to talk you out of it and why do you think they would say "yes" or "no" ?.
What about the mexcian family how do you think they would they feel or say..........?

Mexican people are very family oriented. They embrace anyone into the family. Its only when one of their relatives is hurt or abused by the husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend that the Mexican family will turn its back on that person..the American family...well there are alot of good people that are americans...

The myth is that hispanics have strong family values. The cold hard reality is that they don't. Think twice about marrying a hispanic. Maybe the mexican elite is different than the vast majority of mexicans, but you are unlikely to find one unless you spend much time living in mexico.
With regard to acceptance, it has alot to do with race. If the american is white, likely they will be fully accepted unless the american is female and the mexican is obviously inappropriate somehow. Not so if the american in black, asian, or, ironically, hispanic. These groups don't like their kids mixing it up with foriegners. For that matter, neither do mexicans, which tend to hate americans and look down on people who intermarry.

I am a white American and have been talking on the phone and chatting on yahoo with a Mexican lady for about 8 months and very much in love with her.But I never have seen her in person and problem wont never see her in person.To make the story short I wanted to meet her many times,but everytime we would get a chance she wouldn't do it. It was always this are that so we couldn't met.At first my family was very happy about me and her but as things when on and things happen and we never had met yet my whole family was total against me meeting her,not because she was Mexican but just the way she had done me about not meeting her ather 8 months.Their is alot more to this story but I dint want to get into all of it.But anyway Celine I love you but it wont work out with my family against you now,so good lucky with your life.And I think I know who send this question in to see what I would say. Anyway my family doesn't have anything against me marring a Mexican lady If I could find one that is in love with me as much as i would be with her.

I see nothing wrong with it and the family should be supportive and happy that the person found someone that they can love and be with

family supports me they would say if thats what you want and you think you will be happy then go for it and the other family will love me i the greatest besides that they would be able to see i will be able to give us a great life
