First secret prisons, maybe for terrorest who are arrested outside the US, there are no civil rights people who are not american citizens outside the US. Only those rights of the Geneva Convenction, (human rights)

We are trying to judge military prisons or prisioners of war under the wrong idea of what they are, they do not, never did get consititional rights.

Even in WWII, the US took away the constitutional rightrs of Japanise americans and put them in camps and they lost thier property in the US during this time.

And no people are not spying on liberals, why they tell more than they know to start with. The only spying is to track and trace telephone calls of posible terroest links ( and emails and regular mail)

Merely alot of issues taken out of context by the opposing public party that cares little about destroying our war effort if they can win an election.

If there are people spying on the liberals, the government isn't supporting them because that's just wrong. I'm not sure about our rights being violated in the US. But I think that the Middle East's civil rights were violated. Before the war, an example is the treatment of women in the Taliban's regime, civil rights like that have improved since the War on Terror.

To understand the loss of civil rights one must look to history. The violation of our civil rights and liberties has been taking place since the early 1900s. The best examples of the biggest violations are always during war. World War I, WWII, Vietnam etc. This is not the first, nor the last time they will be violated.

If you have issues with these violations take action, contact your senator and representatives, join the ACLU. Do something other than complain and be shocked.

If you don't speak up now you may never have the chance.

Our civil rights are not being violated. There are no 'secret' prisons in the US, nor are liberals being spied upon for what they believe (unless they believe in helping fanatical muslims kill americans, then that's a whole other matter).

You are getting all worked up over things that aren't even true.

Look, there are plenty of things going on in the US and the world that are outrageous and need fixing. You don't have to go around inventing fictitious outrages to get hysterical about.

Technically, the war in Iraq is supposedly over, so I guess that answers your question.
