Anything against your will is considered FORCE. Were you a virgin? The decision is up to you, but know, once reported to the authorities, he may no longer be your boyfriend, and if found guilty will be listed in the "sex offenders" category. Then you must go to the police station and file a report which will consist of your statement of facts - you will be asked to sign the report. Then your boyfriend will be [temporarily] picked-up for questioning. Whatever you do, the ball lies in your court. I'm very sorry to hear of this incident, my heart goes out to you. Should you need a shoulder to cry on or need me to talk with you...just send me an email.

Depends if you asked him to rape you or not?? Sometimes the misconception of rough sex can be taken as rape. The question here is have you ever hinted to him that you like to be "taken" or you like it "really rough"? This could be a very damaging situation for both of you if there was a misunderstanding on either of your parts. Be sure this was a clear cut blatant rape. You should be able to tell, clearly in your own mind. If this is the case, I would report it definitely. Be sure it's not an act of recoil to get at him for some quarrel, this could be an unnecessary devastating blow that would permanently scar him emotionally.

Only you can decide if you should report it or not. The process is not easy and the support systems are few and far in between. I'm not saying this to deter you from reporting, but to prepare you to make a decision that is best for you and your circumstances.

In the meantime, here are some links and resources for you. I wish you well and hope for you healing and peace in the days to come.

You should report it. If you don't, he will think it is okay to continue that sort of behavior. He could rape you again and he could go rape other girls. By reporting it you not only protect yourself, but you protect other women. We should stick together. We should protect one another. Never let something like this just go.

Not reporting a crime is a crime in and of itself. It is willfully aiding the criminal in continuing his behaviour! And it's also bad karma.

Always report rape, no matter what. If you decide to drop charge that is another matter, but you must report ir. AND DO GET RID of that boyfriend. What knid of boy rapes his girl? That is not cool at all. He doesn't own you and he should learn that! No one is to be owned!

It's best to report a rape right after it happened. For reasons such as evidence, clear memory of the events. You should report it so he doesn't do it to someone else.

If he raped you, he should be reported.

I certainly hope he is not your boyfriend anymore.

If you do not want every nut case out there in the world to believe that you are ready, willing and able to have sex with anyone who walks into a room with an erection, you should consider changing your screen name. There are way too many weirdos out there to whom you are inadvertently sending the message that when you say "no", you probably don't really mean it.

Report it. You are better than that and you do not deserve that at all! If he really cares or cared about you at all he would not have to rape you to get the affetion he needs from you. Rape is about control. Don't give him that control!

Using the word " RAPED " means you were not in agreement with your boyfriend and therefore you must report it. RAPE is always by force and never never in mutual agreement dear.
