Because the trial is in the hands of his fellow iraqi's, if he had been tried by a unbias multinational tribunal the trial would be over, saddam would be in his grave, and the world would be a better place.

The reason I think Saddam's trial is taking so long is because we Americans know that we should have never been in involved in the first place with their politics. We don't know how to get out of it nor do we know what to do when all the evidence of him killing happened in his country and not in ours. Why should we stick our nose into something that has nothing to do with the U.S.? Another reason I think it is taking so long is because his attorneys are either disappearing or killed before or during the trial. Saddam said one thing right during his trial; he is still the President of Iraq no matter what Americans said because we really donot have anything to do with their politics. It is really between the Iraq people and him; not us and him.

They are still thinking of a more creative way to off him than the electric chair or lethal injection. Personally I think they are still trying to convince Tiger Woods to hit golf balls at the guy until he is dead...dead....dead...innocent until guilty.
