I am going to a wedding on July 7th and I need to find a dress to wear. The inivitation said "black-tie optional"...does that mean a cocktail dress would do or somthing more formal. Any ideas? Any links to online stores with nice affordable dresses?? Thanks

Try a nice cocktail dress...Very simple though. Mid thigh and strapless...Don't go over the top with sequins or anything though. Just have a good time

Yeah I would go with a nice cocktail dress, nothing too over the top. You want to look nice but not like it's you thats getting married! Don't bother with a hat either, far too much fuss.

it means u can come dressy or casual dont stress I had the same problem and gave up and just went casual and would u know turned out everybody went casual just a few where dressed up u are going to the wedding not in it

Get a nice semi casual dress or dresspants. Spaghetti straps looks good.

If you got a nice body, wear something short tight and slutty.

well it depends where your going, and your taste. we all have diffrent body types, some look better on others. if i was you, i would where what i would feel beautiful in. dont wory about what people think , worry about your self.
