You are having an allergic reaction. You can do one of three things. If you find your allergic reactions are not too violent, you can risk eating these fruits again, and then take an over-the- counter antihistamine, like Benadryl (although it may make you sleepy). You can go to their website to see if they have any info on these types of alleriges http://www.benadrylusa.com/.
Your other option is to see a doctor and see if he can prescribe something for you to take daily which will help and may not make you as groggy as Banadryl can (although once you've taken a Benadryl a few times, your body will get used to it and it wont make you as loopy). Another option is to cut these fruits from your diet all together and try other fruits out to see if you are not allergic to them. That way at least you can enjoy fruit, just not the ones that make you itch. Oh, and one last idea, try those fruits canned. Maybe the canned peaches or cherries won't have the same effect on you because of the preservatives they contain.
Either way you should be really careful. Like someone said before me, you may one day have a really bad reaction which may cause your throat to swell so much that you may suffocate. I don't mean to scare you, but if I were you I wouldn't go around gorging on these fruits without first seeing a doctor.

I have the same problem. It is an allergic reaction. I was once told that it could be the pesticides. I tried organics, and I still have the same problem. I can eat mangoes raw, all the other fruit I can only eat if they are processed... cooked or baked, or canned. If you do figure out what can be done about it, let me know. I haven't had those fruits fresh in 20 years. I miss the juicy crunch of a red delicious apple.

because u are allergic to these fruit. swelling, itchy throat mean an allergic reaction (onset). you should take benadryl of another antihistamine to stop the above. and remember, once you overdo it (eat too many of these fruits) you can go into an anaphylactic shock and your throat might close up due to swelling and you wont be able to breathe. go to your doctor and ask him to give you a prescription for epipen and carry it with you always. when you feel like your heart is racing and you swell up so bad you cant breathe you must inject yourself with it. otherwise you may die. but see your doc first.

You are probably sensitive to the chemicals which are sprayed on the fruits. Have you tried organic or home grown produce? If you don't get the same reaction after trying these then you'll know it is the chemicals you are allergic to and not the fruits themselves.

Dude, if you know it itches and swells, stop eating them. One day it might swell so bad it blocks your windpipe or esophogus and then you either: 1- Die from no air/food or 2- Have to get surgery orrrr 3- You have to get air/food pumped into you and then there´s 4- Die trying.
Allergys dude, go to the doc or get some Benadryll.
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away." In your case, it makes it come.

You're allergic to the fruits. Are you sure you are washing them thoroughly before eating them? If not, it may simply be a reaction to the pesticides on the fruit.
I am allergic to melons and get the same reaction. My allergist just said I can't eat melon anymore.

Sounds like severe allergies too me. If you don't want the reactions that you've mentioned then you will have to stay clear of those foods that cause the negative effects to occur. Otherwise, Benedryl may help your symptoms once they occur. If you go see an allergist, than he may give you allergy injections, which may help the symptoms from occurring as often.

You have allergies, if you want to still eat your fruit there are over the counter allergy meds, you can take before.
You might have to try a few brands, because a lot of them make you very sleepy.

You're either allergic to the fruit itself, or the pesticides on them. You need to get checked out before it kills you.
