We just bought the GE Front loader washer and dryer. THey are awesome. I have cut my water bill and have cut the amount of detergent and bleach I use.

Whirlpool or Kenmore from Sears they are so great about there warrantys also I have had my washer for 12 years now and its like brand new still and my dryer I just bought from sears and it is great also. I do believe in Sears and their customer service and warranty service so maybe try them Good Luck!Now I hope my washer doesnt quit after answering this question!haha

Try reading up on washers & dryers in Consumer Reports magazines. Most libraries have copies of past magazines. It's worth it to look.

Love my Sears Kenmore heavyduty stack washer and dryer. Am 61 years old; almost all my appliances are Kenmore and never have any problems with them.

I have a mag tag washer & Dryer they work great but there are several types out there to choose from.
kenmore are good brands too

GE Front loaders are awesome.Not only for efficiency,but they do twice the job that the top loaders do. :)
