Don't tell him you don't like him.

Tell him you don't want a relationship at this point in your life or some other reason. Just don't tell him something like: it's not you, it's me!

"There are so many things about you I can't stand, I would be into menopause before I finished listing them. You are the kind of man that makes women turn lesbian. Not only do I not like you as a friend, I don't like you as a human. My stomach churns whenever you are near. When you talk to me, self-immolation doesn't seem such a bad idea. If you were the last man on earth, I would date a lizard."

Some guys can't take a hint.

I've been in that situation and I just said to the guy that I just liked him as a friend and nothing else. He still likes me but he's moving on and we're good friends now and he knows I don't like him so he doesn't try to be forward with me anymore.

Just say you're not interested in a relationship right now. That you'd prefer his friendship. Or you could just ignore the signs he gives you and act neutral to him without giving him hope for a more than friendly relationship with you.

basically tell him at once up that youll by no ability have an interest, or lie & tell him you're already seeing somebody else. He feels like a wimp, & basically the seen yet another guy getting pissed & pounding him to a pulp will make him end bothering you.

you dont need the "like" inbetween "being" and "rude". dont lead him on. just sit him down and tell him how you feel. dont be mean but dont sugar coat it either. people value honesty

You could say something like: "I like you as a friend, but you're just not my type". That should be enough.

ignore him. it works most of the time. if that doesn't work, take him over into a quiet corner and explain to him that you don't think the ralationship would work.
