I've been on line trying to find any at home opportunity that will allow me to work from home and go to school. Does anyone have information about a real job that pays you instead of you having to pay them? I mean c'mon, when you go to a regular job, you don't have to pay because if you did, you probably wouldn't take the job! If your willing to do the work, why not be paid for it?

Unfortunately, there are A LOT of companies out there trying to take advantage of people.

Have you ever thought about going into business for yourself? Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

* The Best Home Businesses for the 21st Century by Paul Edwards
* Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll

* The Best Internet Businesses You Can Start by Marian Betancourt
* The Shoestring Entrepreneur's Guide to Internet Start-Ups by Robert Spiegel
* Making a Living Without a Job : Winning Ways For Creating Work That You Love by Barbara Winter

I also posted some article links in the source box.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Most work from home opportunities start by working in an office. Most companies will not move someone to work from home until the person shows that they can be trusted to work effectively from home. Since going into an office to prove your worth doesn't appear to be an option for you, try searching for opportunities on job search sites. If they ask you for money, it's probably a scam. Edit: I've just thought of something else. Try going to local small businesses and seeing if they need any data entry services. I would try places like Doctor's offices that might be interested in outsourcing their billing. It's a long shot, but at least you'll know it's not a scam.

The real jobs at home jobs are people who own a business. If you want to earn $$$ from home you have to get creative. Sell some crafts online, do a dog walking or pet sitting service. Whatever interests you and you have the time for.

All of that other stuff is a bunch of hooey! Unless you want to do MLM (formerly known as pyramid scams) or stuff envelopes for five cents apiece.

There are some customer service call center type jobs that pay about $7 an hour and have no benefits. Try WillowCSN, a Miramar company that recruits for home based customer service. There is also LiveOps Inc. of Palo Alto, CA. This information is from an article in my local newspaper on "homeshoring".

Sure. You can start your own website with many options from writing and promoting ebooks on tons of subjects. Maybe affiliate marketing. This way you are in control and not dependent on someone else. I have a couple tools this site offers and they are helping me. Good luck.
