The limitations of Bluetooth technology at this point is the range of detection. There is extended range Bluetooth as well, however most Bluetooth devices will only work within 150 foot range.

i have personally used bluetooth with my razr. It is great as far as clarity and sound quaility. It has a limited range though depending upon your phone and what model blue tooth you buy, also it drains alot of power from your phone to use it.

i use a bluetooth handset with my razr, and i also use it to import ringtones from my laptop.
the sound quality is awesome, the wireless downlading even has great sound quality, and i wasn't expecting it to.
the only issue is range, but even that is kind of a non-issue, who uses their cellphone while it's lying really far away?
